Written high-voltage safety procedures, ready to adopt Lockout/tagout, PPE selection and inspection, isolation verification, emergency response. Formatted as shop policy. Sign it and it's yours. Most shops pay a consultant four figures to produce this document, or never produce it at all.

ASE EV2: xEV Technician Electrical Safety, Level 2 Non-brand-specific and nationally recognized. This is the credential that answers "is your shop qualified to work on this vehicle?" when the question comes from an insurer, a fleet manager, or a customer. Brand-specific dealer training doesn't transfer; this does.
NFPA 70E (2024): Electrical Safety in the Workplace The workplace electrical safety standard. Matters for your OSHA posture and increasingly for your general liability carrier. Shops discover they need it at the worst possible moment, after an incident, or during a program application with a deadline.

Do I need prior EV experience?
No. If you can diagnose and service vehicles now, you can do this. Attendees come from every kind of shop background.
How long is the training?
Two days, intensive and hands-on. You'll be working on real EV components, not watching slides.
Where is it held?
At our Massachusetts facility, or at your shop. Also, we have a mobile training bench and can run the full curriculum in your bays.
Which track should I pick?
Collision or auto body shop, take the collision track. Independent general repair, take the repair track. Doing both kinds of work, send techs to each. The shared core is identical, so you get two applications for one foundation.
Can I switch tracks after registering?
Yes, up until the day-2 split. Just tell us.
What tooling do I need before class?
None. Everything is provided for the training. You'll leave with a specification for what to buy afterward, sized to your shop and sequenced by priority.
Is my tech going to be ready to work on EVs Monday?
On safety, disable, and isolation, yes, immediately. On complex diagnostics, that comes with reps, same as it did on gas cars. What we guarantee is that nobody gets hurt and no vehicle gets turned away.
Do you offer group or multi-tech pricing?
Yes. Full price training for the class is $1,650 per person. On-site training at your shop is usually the better economic answer past three technicians. Ask us.
